Do you only ride in dry conditions, and is speed your top priority? Then your chain will love a treatment with Ceramicspeed UFO Speed hot wax. It forms a dry lubricating film that significantly minimizes friction, doesn’t attract dirt, and ensures an extremely quiet drivetrain. As a result, you’ll enjoy exceptional performance and significantly extend the life of your chain. With a lifespan of up to 650 km, maintenance intervals are also reduced to a manageable level.
CeramicSpeed developed the wax’s unique formula in its own laboratories and tested it under both theoretical and practical conditions. It has also proven its effectiveness at various triathlon events and in the three major stage races for professional road cyclists.

    Application

    • The chain must be completely cleaned of oil and grease
    • Carefully heat the wax in a pot over a water bath (melting point between 75°C and 95°C)
    • Once the wax is completely liquid, hang the chain on a chain holder and dip it into the liquid wax bath
    • Move the chain around in the bath (air bubbles may rise)
    • After about 5 minutes, remove the chain and let it drip dry over the bath
    • Hang it up to dry
    • Follow the same procedure for the chain lock
    • Once completely dry, reinstall the chain
    • Full lubrication is achieved after about 15–20 minutes of riding
